Compare and Backup is the advanced version of a program to perform backups called Everyday Auto Backup, which you can also download for free. The difference between the two is that Everyday Auto Backup, which is free, is more limited in its functions than its big brother, Compare and Backup.

With Compare and Backup you can back up any file or folder that's saved on your PC. In addition, once you conect a source file (original) and a destination (or copy), you can compare them based on 5 criteria: if the source has been modified after the copy, if the source is bigger than the copy, if the copy can't be found, if the original can't be found, or the size of both has changed.
